Citrus Australia welcomes new team member

25-October-2017

Citrus Australia has appointed Nicole Zerveas to the role of Project Officer in the Market Development Team.

Citrus Quality and Market Information Manager Nathan Hancock says Nicole’s appointment is timely with the Citrus Tree Census and KCT application period rapidly approaching.

“I am really pleased to announce Nicole is joining the team, we are in a transition phase at the moment and it is great to have another experienced person come on board,” said Nathan.

Nicole’s recent background has been with Mildura Fruit Company as their Grower Service Administration Supervisor.

“Nicole brings first-hand experience of entering tree census and KCT applications, which means a seamless transition from a grower’s perspective,” said Nathan.

Nicole began work on 23 October and is based in the Mildura office.

“My primary responsibilities will be assisting growers to enter tree census data and KCT applications,” said Nicole.

“I am really happy to be working with Citrus Australia, I am looking forward to the new challenges the role will bring and am glad to be continuing in the citrus industry having been associated with it for many years.”

Nathan added, “Nicole will be a key asset in the development and implementation of food safety training for citrus growers as Citrus Australia works to assist growers to comply with HARPS.”

Nicole can be contacted at nicole.zerveas@citrusaustralia.com.au and on mobile 0499 044 111.
