Xuefeng Wang is the Director of the Citrus Research Institute at Southwest University/Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. His research focuses on the pathogenesis of Candidatus Libeirbacter asiaticus, or the pathogen of citrus Huanglongbing (HLB), and the molecular interaction of HLB pathogens and hosts. Xuefeng is one of the leading coordinators of citrus HLB research and control in China. He also serves as the General Secretary of the National Alliance of Citrus HLB Control.
