Citrus Australia is now accepting nominations for its annual awards, to be presented at the Australian Citrus Congress Gala Dinner. Awards are presented in the following categories:
Hall of Fame
To be inducted into the Citrus Australia Hall of Fame, growers must have provided outstanding service to the industry, have been active through committees and other volunteer activities, and have further developed the industry and Citrus Australia through their work.
Service to Industry
Citrus Australia bestows the Service to Industry Award to companies or individuals who have dedicated time and commitment to servicing the citrus sector. Nominees can be from any link in the supply chain, other than growers.
Emerging Leader
The Emerging Leader Award recognises younger growers and packers, aged 40 and under. Nominees must display their credentials in one or more of the following areas: Business leadership; advocacy; progressive farming; thought leadership.
Value Chain Innovator
This award recognises innovation in the supply chain, acknowledging leaders who can communicate their companies’ significant and proven achievements in innovation. This can be demonstrated through impacts on company ROI and performance, increased profile, unique marketing or branding of the company or product(s).
To submit a nomination, please provide the full name, job title and company name of the nominee, along with the award they are being nominated for and an overview of why they are being nominated (200 words max). Nominations are reviewed by the Board of Citrus Australia.
