Western Australia has approximately a total of 1, 014 hectares combined planted citrus, contributing 4 per cent of citrus commercially planted in Australia.*

WA is a small but growing citrus state, now growing enough citrus to supply to all of Western Australian.

Plantings are wide spread along the coastal areas from Harvey (south of Perth) through to Gingin and Moora (north of Perth), Carnarvon (central-west coast) and Kununurra (far north, near the Northern Territory border).
