Citrus plant protection and management guide released

The Citrus plant protection and management guide 2017 is available from NSW DPI’s website.

The Citrus plant protection and management guide 2017  is a new flagship product from the NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI).

Information is presented on the most common citrus pests and weeds and their management, including details on NSW-registered pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and biological controls. Research updates on specific pests such as citrus gall wasp and Fuller’s rose weevil are also covered.

The book also features details of the new Biosecurity Act 2015 and growers’ responsibilities regarding spraying.

“We hope growers will find this book useful,” guide co-author Steven Falivene, NSW DPI, said. “Please let us know if there is something you need that is not covered and we will do our best to include it in the next edition.”

Electronic copies are available online at the NSW DPI citrus website. Growers can contact NSW DPI directly to request it in hard copy.
