Citrus Australia welcomes market development expert

Citrus Australia is pleased to announce the addition of Mara Milner to the Market Development team as Quality and Market Information Project Officer.

Citrus Quality and Market Information Manager Nathan Hancock said, “We are excited to welcome Mara to our team, she brings a lot of relevant experience to the role and will fit in quickly”.

Mara has previously worked in the citrus industry for Mildura Fruit Company.

“Mara’s formal qualifications in food technology and experience in food safety, fruit quality and MRL compliance are all great assets and I’m confident she will bring a level of enthusiasm and professionalism to her role in the quality standards and market information projects,” added Nathan.

Mara will start with Citrus Australia on July 31 and will be based in Melbourne.

Mara’s appointment is a strategic levy investment under the Hort Innovation Citrus Fund funded by Hort Innovation using the citrus levy and funds from the Australian Government.
