Grower comment wanted on Strategic Industry Plan

Citrus growers have been asked to comment on the draft Citrus Strategic Investment Plan (SIP), which is now available on the Hort Innovation website (http://horticulture.com.au/grower-focus/citrus/).

The SIP is the roadmap that helps guide Hort Innovation’s oversight and management of individual industry levy investment programs.

It will be used to guide the Strategic Investment Advisory Panels (SIAPs) and Hort Innovation prioritization and implementation of specific industry levy R&D and marketing programs.

The draft was prepared in consultation with industry and will be presented to the citrus industry at the Citrus Technical Forum in Mildura on March 1-2.

The consultants who prepared the draft SIP, Russell Pattinson and Scott Williams, will be able to modify it throughout the feedback period.

Horticulture Innovation Australia will be supporting the 2017 Citrus Technical Forum and participating as part of the speaker program and exhibition booth.
