Riverina Regional Forum to be held Thursday, November 7

Citrus Australia and the Riverina Regional Advisory Committee will hold the 2019 Riverina Regional Forum on Thursday, 7 November at the Griffith ex-Serviceman’s Club from 8.30am – 12.30 pm.

The forum will be followed by a field demonstration to see how growers can go “off-the-grid” with their energy needs. The in-field demonstration will also include information on pest and disease identification.

Forum topics will include:

• Update on biosecurity including citrus canker eradication program
• Update on export market access including issues in China in 2019
• Post-harvest R&D findings
• Treatment options for citrus gall wasp
• Options for cheaper energy
• Water capacity and deliverability
• Agrichemical update
