Western Australia has a small but growing industry with significant new plantings in recent years.
Plantings are wide spread along the coastal areas from Harvey (south of Perth) through to Gingin and Moora (north of Perth), Carnarvon (central-west coast) and Kununurra (far north, near the Northern Territory border).
Navels are the dominant variety (Late Lane and Washington) followed by mandarins (Imperials, Hickson, Afourer), Valencia oranges and grapefruit (pink and red flesh).
