Queensland is a proud citrus-growing state, with major growing regions in the Central Burnett (Gayndah & Mundubbera), Emerald, Bundaberg and, in the far north, Mareeba where limes are predominantly grown. The town of Gayndah hosts the Gayndah Orange Festival once a year to celebrate their growing citrus industry and home.
